Holy Spirit Conviction

–Salvation is a living union with a living Lord

–Salvation is a new birth

–Salvation is a true knowledge of a true God

–Salvation is life and nature of God restored unto us

–If we miss the conviction of Holy Spirit, we will miss repentance

–If we miss repentance, we will miss faith

–If we miss faith, we will miss Christ

–Holy Spirit conviction of our inability is not the goal.

–The end or goal of all means of grace is to bring us to Christ.

–A man may be a chosen vessel unto God, but he is not saved until he comes to faith in Christ

–A man may hear the true prophet of God, but that man is not saved, until he rests in Christ

–A man may undergo deep, personal, conviction of sin, but that man is not saved until he rests in Christ.

–He goes to open for us a way into the presence of God!

–He goes away to take possession of heaven in our stead and preparing a place for us!

–He goes to the Father’s right hand to intercede for us!

–He goes to make an effectual atonement for us

–Is not just the troubling of the natural conscience.

–is not just a head knowledge of the fact that sin is wrong.

–is not just to give mental agreement to what the Bible says about sin.

–True Holy Spirit conviction that leads to repentance and leads to faith and leads a sinner to rest in Christ,

–Holy Spirit conviction is a real sense of the fact that my sins are against God!

–Holy Spirit conviction; is a real sense of the justice and righteousness of God in condemning and punishing my sins
