Who is this man called Mephibosheth?
1) His Lineage (II Samuel 9:6) ܒ. ܫܡܘܐܝܠ ܛ : 6
a) He was Saul’s grandson and Jonathan’s son.
b) Who is our lineage?
o Genesis 1:27ܒܪܝܬܐ ܐ : 27
o Isaiah 43:7ܐܫܥܝܐ ܡܓ : 7
2) His Name (II Samuel 9:6) ܒ. ܫܡܘܐܝܠ ܛ : 6
a) His name means Shameful!ܢܚܘܼܦܬܵܐ
o Isaiah 64:6ܐܫܥܝܐ ܣܕ : 6
o Isaiah 1:6ܐܫܥܝܐ ܐ : 6
3) His Alliance (II Samuel 9:6)ܒ. ܫܡܘܐܝܠ ܛ : 6
a) He is the enemy of the King by birth

b) We are by nature the enemy of God.

b) We also have the same spiritual condition apart from our Lord.
