Introduction

1)      What do you think of Jesus Christ?        ܡܘܼܕܝܼ ܐܲܢ݉ܬ ܒܸܚܫܵܒܼܵܐ ܝܘܸܬ ܒܘܼܬ ܡܫܝܼܚܵܐ؟

2)      What do I see in Christ?ܡܘܼܕܝܼ ܒܸܚܙܵܝܵܐ ܝܘܸܢ ܓܵܘ ܡܫܝܼܚܵܐ؟                             

a)      In Christ Jesus I see God’s eternallove revealed.ܚܘܼܒܵܐ ܕܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܓܸܠܝܵܐ 

b)      I see in Jesus Christ God’s sovereignty, God’s purpose.ܪܸܙܵܝܵܐ ܕܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ

o   Isaiah 46:11ܐܫܥܝܐ ܡܘ : 11                                        

o   Isaiah 42: 1, 4ܐܫܥܝܐ ܡܒ : 1 ، 4                                  

c)      I see in Jesus Christ my God.ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܓܵܢܘܼܗܝ                                    

o   Isaiah 53:4-5, 10ܐܫܥܝܐ ܢܓ : 4-5، 10                   

o   John 10:18ܝܘܚܢܢ  ܝ : 29

d)      I see in Jesus Christ God’s righteousness and holiness ܙܲܕܝܼܩܘܿܬܵܐ ܕܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ

e)      I see in Jesus Christ Man’s inability ܒܵܨܘܼܪܘܿܬܵܐ ܕܒܲܕ ܐܢܵܫܵܐ                             

o   John saw him

⇒  Clothed with a garment down to the foot   ܠܒ̣ܝܼܫܵܐ ܠܒ̣ܸܫܬܵܐ ܗܲܠ ܐܲܩܠܵܐ

⇒ Girt about the paps with a golden girdle.           ܐܣܝܼܪܵܐ ܗܵܡܵܝܹܠ ܕܕܲܗܒ̣ܵܐ

⇒ His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow

     ܘܪܸܫܹܗ ܘܣܲܥܪܵܐ ܕܝܼܹܗ ܚܘܵܖܹ̈ܐ ܗ݉ܘܵܘ: ܐܲܝܟ̣ ܥܲܡܪܵܐ ܚܘܵܪܵܐ: ܐܲܝܟ̣ ܬܲܠܓܵܐ

⇒ His eyes were as a flame of fire                       ܥܲܝܢܘܼ̈ܗܝ ܐܲܝܟ̣ ܠܵܗܵܐ ܕܢܘܼܪܵܐ

⇒ His feet like unto fine brass         ܐܲܩܠܘܼ̈ܗܝ ܕܕܵܡܝܼ ܗ݉ܘܵܘ ܠܢܚܵܫܵܐ ܡܘܼܒܪܸܩܵܐ

⇒ His voice as the sound of many waters       ܩܵܠܹܗ ܐܲܝܟ̣ ܩܵܠܵܐ ܕܡ̈ܝܼܵܐ ܪܵܒܵܐ

⇒ In His right hand seven stars                    ܒܐܝܼܕܹܗ ܕܝܲܡܝܼܢܵܐ ܫܲܒ̣ܥܵܐ ܟܵܘܟ̣ܒ̣ܹ̈ܐ

⇒ Sharp twoedged sword                                 ܣܲܝܦܵܐ ܚܵܪܝܼܦܵܐ ܕܬܪܲܝ ܦܘܼܡܵܢܹ̈ܐ

⇒ His countenance was as the sun shineth                   ܦܵܬܹܗ ܐܲܝܟ̣ ܫܸܡܫܵܐ
