Looking At The Cross!

What do I see at Calvary hill?

I.         I see the Father’ Hand.ܐܝܼܕܵܐ ܕܒܵܒܵܐ

a)       Christ’s death was not an accident. Acts 2: 22-23; Acts 4:27-28;
Isaiah 53:10; Luke 22:42; Matthew 26:52-54; Acts 10:43

b)      God the Father delivered Him up. Romans 8:32

II.         I see the Savior’s Will.ܪܸܙܵܝܵܐ ܕܦܵܪܘܼܩܵܐ

a)       Lord Jesus came to this earth to die on the cross. John 2:4; John 7:30; John 8:20;  John 12:23, 27; John 17:1

b)      Our Lord was a willing sacrifice. John 10:14-18, Isaiah 53:7

III.          I see the Old Testament Sacrifices All Fulfilled.ܕܸܒܼܚܹܐ ܦܸܫܠܘܿܢ ܡܘܼܟܡܸܠܘܿܢ

·       Abel, Abraham, Israelites, etc…

IV.            I see Man’s Absolute Depravityܚܛܝܼܬܵܐ ܕܒܲܪܐ݉ܢܵܫܵܐ

a)       Matthew 27:21-22ܡܬܝ ܟܙ:21-22             

b)      John 3:19ܝܘܚܢܢ ܓ:19

V.            I see my Ransom Paidܕܵܝܢܝܼ ܦܸܫܠܹܐ ܦܘܼܪܝܼܵܐ

a)       Jesus paid it all!

Conclusion:

Romans 8:33-34ܖ̈ܗܘܡܝܐ ܚ:33 –34
