Some things that religious people have in common
1) They believe in God

2) They have an understanding of good and evil
§ Romans 2:15ܖ̈ܗܘܡܝܐ ܒ:15
3) They believe that death eventually comes to all men

§ Isaiah 28:15ܐܫܥܝܐ ܟܚ:15
4) They believe that they are safe from the wrath of God

Some of the common refuges in which religious people seek to hide from God
1) A wrong idea of Sin!

2) A wrong idea of Love and Mercy of God

3) Profession of salvation that has no fruit

But God has a solution – A true refuge and hiding place ܐܫܥܝܐ ܟܚ:16
1) Behold I lay a foundation in Zion – a stoneܟܹܐܦܵܐ
2) It is a tried stoneܟܹܐܦܵܐ ܓ̣ܘܼܪܒܵܐ
3) It is a precious corner stoneܟܹܐܦܵܐ ܒܘܼܚܪܵܐ ܕܩܸܪܢܝܼܬܵܐ: ܛܝܼܡܵܢܵܐ
4) He is a sure foundationܟܹܐܦܵܐ ܫܘܼܬܸܐܣܵܐ ܫܘܼܬܸܐܣܵܐ
