Introduction:

o   Everything in the scriptures is given to know: Who is Christ, what did he come to do, what did he accomplish, where is he now and what is he doing now?

I)        Enemy’s plan of attack – I Samuel 30:1-3ܐ. ܫܡܘܐܝܠ ܠ:1 –3

a.       Satan Invades our hearts (vs. 1-2)ܕܸܫܡܸܢ ܠܹܐܘܵܪܵܐ ܓܵܘܵܝ

b.       Satan took us captive (vs. 2-3)  ܠܘܼܒܠܹܐ ܝܲܚܣܝܼܪ

II)         How should a believer respond? – I Samuel 30:4-8ܐ. ܫܡܘܐܝܠ ܠ:4 – 6 

a.       He lifted up his voice and wept (vs. 4) ܡܘܼܪܸܡܠܹܐ ܕܵܘܝܼܕ ܩܵܠܘܼܗܝ ܘܒܟ̣ܹܠܹܐ (ܓ̰ܪ. 4)

o   Psalm 34:18ܡܙܡܘܖ̈ܐ ܠܕ:18 

b.       Encourage yourself in the Lord (vs. 6)  ܚܘܼܠܸܢܵܠܹܐ ܓܵܢܘܼܗܝ ܕܵܘܝܼܕ ܒܡܵܪܵܐ (ܓ̰ܪ. 6)

o   Psalm 119:28ܡܙܡܘܖ̈ܐ ܩܝܛ:28

c.        Go to the Lord for answers (vs. 8)  ܒܘܼܩܸܪܹܐ ܕܵܘܝܼܕ ܒܡܵܪܝܵܐ (ܓ̰ܪ. 8)

III)       Christ’s Victory – I Samuel 30:18-25   ܓܼܵܠܹܒܘܼܬܵܐ ܕܡܫܝܼܚܵܐ

a.       Christ recovered all (vs. 18)ܦܘܹܨܠܹܐ ܕܵܘܝܼܕ ܠܟܠ (ܓ̰ܪ. 18)

o   Luke 11:21-22ܠܘܩܐ ܝܐ:21 – 22

o   Job 29:17ܐܝܘܒܼ ܟܛ:17

b.       Our Lord recued his Bride (vs. 18)ܠܬܲܪܬܹܝ ܒܲܟ̣ܬܵܬܘܼ̈ܗܝ ܦܘܼܨܸܠܹܐ ܕܵܘܝܼܕ (ܓ̰ܪ. 18)

o   Colossians 1:13ܩܘܠܣܝ̈ܐ ܐ:13

o   Ephesians 2:4-5ܐܦܣܝ̈ܐ ܒ:4 – 5

c.        There was nothing lacking them (vs. 19)ܠܵܐ ܚܣܸܪܹܐ ܐܸܠܵܝ (ܓ̰ܪ. 19)

o   Revelation 7:13-14ܓܠܝܢܐ ܙ:13 – 14

e.       Everyone got equal amount of Spoils (vs. 21-25) ܡܸܚܕܵܕܹܐ ܦܲܠܝܼ (ܓ̰ܪ. 24)
