Introduction:
o Everything in the scriptures is given to know: Who is Christ, what did he come to do, what did he accomplish, where is he now and what is he doing now?

I) A Furious Enemy (vs. 4-9)ܕܸܫܡܸܢ ܒܟܲܪܒܵܐ ܓܘܼܪܵܐ
a. God hardened Pharaoh’s heart and he pursued them in fury
o Exodus 14:8-9ܡܦܩܢܐ ܝܕ:8 – 9
o Revelation 12:12ܓܠܝܢܐ ܝܒ:12
b. But, Satan can do no harm to God’s cause or his people

c. The experiences of Israel were typical of God’s elect in this world

a. God’s primary purpose in his works is the manifestation of his own glory
