Why did Christ keep the scars?

1)      He showed them to his disciples

§  Proof that he was the same person (vs. 37-39)

§  To teach us about the glorified body

2)      Christ wears the wounds in Heaven

§  Wounds are the trace of His victory over death, sin, hell and grave

-          Ezekiel 18:20ܚܙܩܝܐܝܠ ܝܚ:20  

§  Wounds are advocate of His people

-          Isaiah 53:4-5ܐܫܥܝܐ ܢܓ:4 – 5   

§  Wounds are the remembrance of His sacrifice

3)      What is the meaning of the nail prints?
