§ He acted without thinking – Matthew 14:28-30ܡܬܝ ܝܕ:28 – 30

Three important things
1) There is a solemn question (vs. 15a)ܒܘܼܩܵܪܵܐ
§ The question was not about his faith
§ The question was not about his works
§ The question was not about his fears and failures

o Love is the evidence of faith,ܨܵܒܸܬܘܼܬܵܐ ܕܗܲܝܡܵܢܘܼܬܵܐ
o Love is the motive for serviceܥܸܠܬܵܐ ܕܥܒܼܵܕܬܵܐ ܕܚܸܠܡܲܬ
o Love is the cover for sins ܡܲܟܣܲܢܬܵܐ ܕܚܛܝܼܬܵܐ
- II Corinthians 11:14ܒ. ܩܘܖ̈ܢܬܝܐ ܝܐ:14
2) There is a pretty good answer (vs. 15b)ܦܘܼܢܵܝܵܐ
§ Do you love me more than these?

§ He was pointing to those boats and those nets in that sea and those fish.
o That was Peter’s life before he met the Lord.
o That was his livelihood.
o That was his profession.
3) There is a command (vs. 15c)ܦܘܼܩܕܵܢܵܐ
§ Feed my sheep
