Introduction

1)      Our Lord of glory is never in league with Satan to accomplish his purpose (vs. 14-20)ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܗܲܪ ܗܸܟ̰ ܠܹܐ ܣܲܙܓܸܪ ܡܼܢ ܣܵܛܵܢܵܐ

-          Evil spirit is looking for rest ܚܵܕܪܵܐ ܒܕܘܼܟܵܢܹ̈ܐ ܕܡ̈ܝܼܵܐ ܠܲܝܬ ܒܝܼܵܝ: ܒܸܛܲܥܝܵܐ ܠܢܝܵܚܵܐ

-          Evil spirit, when he came found the house:

Seven devils more wicked than himself

1)      Hardened spiritܪܘܼܚܵܐ ܝܲܢ ܠܸܒܵܐ ܩܸܫܝܵܐ 

2)      Spirit of Prideܪܘܼܚܵܐ ܕܐܵܢܵܝܘܼܬܵܐ

3)      Spirit of Covetousness ܪܘܼܚܵܐ ܕܛܲܡܲܥܟܵܪܘܼܬܵܐ

4)      Critical Spirit  ܪܘܼܚܵܐ ܕܕܒܼܵܩܬܵܐ ܕܚܸܠܛܹܐ ܡܼܢ ܐܢܵܫܹ̈ܐ

5)      Spirit of Intellectualismܪܘܼܚܵܐ ܕܥܵܩܸܠܕܵܪܘܼܬܵܐ

6)      Selfish spirit ܪܘܼܚܵܐ ܕܡܲܚܵܒܬܵܐ ܕܓܵܢܵܐ

7)      Self-Justifying spiritܪܘܼܚܵܐ ܕܡܲܟܫܲܕܬܵܐ ܕܓܵܢܵܐ
