The parable of the sower – Part 1

Introduction

-          Why did Jesus teach in parables?

• Matthew 13:10-16ܡܬܝ ܝܓ:10 – 13

I.            Sower went forth to sowܦܠܸܛܠܹܐ ܙܲܪܥܵܢܵܐ ܠܸܙܪܲܥܝܵܐ

1. Some fell by the way side          ܢܦܸܠܹܐ ܥܲܠ ܡܲܪܙܵܐ ܕܐܘܼܪܚܵܐ
2. Some fell on the stony ground    ܢܦܸܠܹܐ ܥܲܠ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܟܹܐܦܵܢܬܵܐ
3. Some fell among the thorns       ܢܦܸܠܹܐ ܓܵܘ ܟܸܬܘܹ̈ܐ ܘܩܝܼܘܵܖܹ̈ܐ
4. Other fell into good ground            ܢܦܸܠܹܐ ܒܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܨܦܵܝܝܼ

II.            The seed is the Word of God     ܒܲܪܙܲܪܥܵܐ ܗܹܡܸܙܡܵܢ ܕܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܝܠܹܐ
