Introduction

When God gave this law he gave that law in a great show of majesty, in a show of power, in a show of great glory. Why?

To impress the peopleܡܲܚܙܹܐ ܝܲܢ ܒܥܘܼܓ̰ܵܒܵܐ ܓܵܢܘܼܗܝ ܡܲܕܥ݉ܝܼܠܵܐ  

  • Exodus 20:18ܡܦܩܢܐ ܟ:18 

To show people the reach of the lawܡܛܵܝܬܵܐ ܕܢܵܡܘܼܣܵܐ ܩܵܐ ܟܠ  

  • Romans 3:19ܖ̈ܗܘܡܝܐ ܓ:19 

To show people their utter helplessness before the lawܙܲܒܘܼܢܘܼܬܵܐ ܝܲܢ ܒܹܐ ܗܹܒܼܝܼܘܼܬܵܐ 

  • Habakkuk 3:16ܚܒܼܩܘܩ ܓ:16
