Introduction

Today’s churches and preachers have neglected the Word of the Lord.

I want to share with you four observations on today’s gospel preachers.

1)      Today’s gospel has made our God a beggarܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܥܒܼܝܼܕܘܼܢܵܐ ܓܹܒܼܵܝܵܐ

                 - Instead of men waiting on God, God waits on men.

o   Luke 18:13-14ܠܘܩܐ ܝܚ:13 – 14 

o   Matthew 7:21-23ܡܬܝ ܙ:21 – 23 

o   I Timothy 1:6ܐ. ܛܝܡܬܐܘܣ ܐ:6 

o   Ezekiel 36:26ܚܙܩܝܐܝܠ ܠܘ:26 

o   I Corinthians 15:10ܐ. ܩܘܖ̈ܢܬܝܐ ܝܗ:10 

o   Romans 9:16ܖ̈ܗܘܡܝܐ ܛ:16 

o   Galatians 1:15-16ܓܠܛܝܐ ܐ:15 – 16 

2)      Today’s gospel has one goal and that is to have you make heaven and miss hell

                 - The Scripture talks about knowing Christ, knowing God.ܐܚܟ̣ܝܼ ܒܵܝܼܝܼ ܫܡܲܝܵܐ    

o   Philippians 3:8-10ܦܝܠܝܦܣܝ̈ܐ ܓ:8 – 10 

o   Job 9:2, 25:4ܐܝܘܒܼ ܛ:2، ܟܗ:4

o   Romans 3:26ܖ̈ܗܘܡܝܐ ܓ:26 

3)      Today’s preaching is to the head and not to the heartܠܹܐ ܝܢܵܐ ܡܵܟܪܘܙܐ ܩܵܐ ܠܸܒܵܐ

o   II Timothy 1:12ܒ. ܛܝܡܬܐܘܣ ܐ:12 

o   Colossians 1:27ܩܘܠܣܝ̈ܐ ܐ:27 

o   Matthew 15:8-9ܡܬܝ ܝܗ:8 – 9

4)      Today’s gospel call on people to stand up and be countedܚܵܫܒܘܼܢܹܐ ܐܢܵܫܹ̈ܐ
