Who are His people?ܡܵܢܝܼ ܝܢܵܐ ܛܵܝܸܦܘܼܗܝ؟                            

1.       They are His by Election ܐܸܠܵܐ ܐܵܢܵܐ ܩܲܡ ܓܵܒܸܢܵܘܟܼܘܿܢ                    

2.       They are His by purchaseܙܒܼܝܼܢܹܐ ܒܕܸܡܵܐ                                

3.       They are His by a divine callܩܪܵܝܬܵܐ ܪܘܼܚܵܢܵܝܬܵܐ                        

How are the people of God comforted? ܕܵܐܟܼܝܼ ܐܫܥܝܐ ܝܵܗ݉ܒ̣ܸܠ ܠܸܒܵܐ ܩܵܐ ܛܵܝܸܦܹܗ؟

A.     Speak to their heart!ܗܲܡܙܸܡܘܿܢ ܥܲܠ ܠܸܒܵܐ 

a)       “Old” heart does not listen to God – Jeremiah 16:12

ܩܵܫܝܘܼܬܵܐ ܕܠܸܒܹܗ ܒܝܼܫܵܐ: ܠܵܐ ܠܸܫܡܲܥܝܵܐ ܐܸܠܝܼ –ܐܪܡܝܐ ܝܘ : 12

b)      “Old” heart does not believe God – Psalms 53:1

c)       Out of “old” heart all sorts of sin come out – Matthew 15:18-20
