Introduction
- I think we as a congregation need to look back and see the sin and to acknowledge it, and ask for forgiveness, confessingܡܵܘܕܝܼܵܚ ܒܚܛ̈ܝܼܵܬܵܢ it.
- But it is also a time for us to be victoriousand have triumph over some of those entanglingܟܘܼܬܪܸܢܲܢ ܝܼܢܵܐ sins.

Four principles to guide us through the path of our triumph.
We must understand the means of temptation (vs. 13a)ܐܘܼܪܚܵܐ ܕܢܸܣܝܘܿܢܵܐ
- Temptationis an inward solicitation (petition) resulting from an outward test.

We must understand the nature of temptation (vs. 13b)ܟܝܵܢܵܐ ܕܢܸܣܝܘܿܢܵܐ
- The nature of temptation is human, it is what everybody else experiences.
- Hebrews 4:15ܥܒܼܖ̈ܝܐ ܕ:15

We must understand the extent of temptation (vs. 13c)ܟܝܘܼܠܵܐ (ܕܵܪܵܓ̰ܵܐ) ܕܢܸܣܝܘܿܢܵܐ

He will never allow you to go into temptation which is more than you can handle

We must understand the way out of temptation (vs. 13d) ܐܘܼܪܚܵܐ ܕܥܪܵܩܵܐ ܡܼܢ ܢܸܣܝܘܿܢܵܐ

With the temptation God will always provide the way of escape. How?
- Turn to the Word of God – Psalm 119:11ܡܙܡܘܖ̈ܐ ܩܝܛ:11
- Pray – Matthew 6:13ܡܬܝ ܘ:13
- Take the shield of faith – Ephesians 6:16ܐܦܣܝ̈ܐ ܘ:16
Conclusion Ephesians 5:15-16ܐܦܣܝ̈ܐ ܗ:15 – 16
