B) Shameless rebellion – Luke 15:13-16ܝܵܐܓܼܸܝܘܼ ܬܵܐ ܕܠܵܐ ܢܚܲܦܬܵܐ (ܓ̰ܪ. 13 – 16)  

• “And not many days later.” (vs. 13) ܘܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬ݉ܪ ܚܲܟ̰ܵܐ ܝܘܿܡܵܢܹ̈ܐ
• Younger son “gathered everything together.” (vs. 13)ܓ̰ܘܼܡܸܥܠܹܐ ܟܠܹܗ ܡܸܢܕܝܼܹܗ:
• “He went on a journey into a distant country.” (VS. 13) ܘܐ݉ܙܸܠܹܐ ܠܐܲܬܪܵܐ ܪܸܚܩܵܐ:
• “He there squandered his estate with loose living.” (vs. 13)

• But sin never works out the way it looks

• He has a plan. “he went and attached himself to one of the citizens of that country” (vs. 15) ܘܐ݉ܙܸܠܹܐ ܬܒܸܥܠܹܐ ܠܚܵܕ݉ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܢܲܝ̈ ܡܕܝܼܢ݉ܬܵܐ ܕܗ̇ܘ ܐܲܬܪܵܐ:
• “he sent him into fields to feed pigs.” (vs. 15)ܫܘܼܕܸܪܹܗ ܠܚܲܩܠܵܐ ܠܡܲܪܥܘܼܝܹܐ ܚܙܘܼܖܹ̈ܐ
  • Leviticus 17:11ܟܗܢ̈ܐ ܝܙ:11  , Deuteronomy 14:8ܬܢܝܢ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܝܕ:8 
• “longing to fill his stomach with the pods that the swine were eating.” (vs. 16)
• “No one was giving anything to him.” (vs. 16)
