Jeremiah charges the false prophets with three crimes
1) They’re given to covetousness (6:13)ܫܲܗ݉ܘܲܬܵܐ
a) They covet the praise of man
- John 12:42-43ܝܘܚܢܢ ܝܒ:42 – 43
b) They covet money and possessions of this world
- I Peter 5:2ܐ. ܦܛܪܘܣ ܗ:2
c) They covet titles and honor
- Matthew 23:6-10ܡܬܝ ܟܓ:6 – 10
2) They deal falsely with the people (6:13)ܟܠܵܝ ܥܵܒܼܕܵܢܹ̈ܐ ܕܚܸܠܛܵܐ (ܠܹܐܒܵܐ)
How does God deal with his people?

Let me show you from the scriptures God’s way of giving peace
1) Before man can speak peace, he must be made to feel his S – I – N – Sܚܛܝܼܵܬܹ̈ܐ
