Introduction

Beloved, it all began in Matthew 4:18-22

1)      Jesus chose His partners very carefully (vs. 18)ܚܸܠܡܲܬܟܵܖܹ̈ܐ ܣܲܪܲܣܬ – ܓ̰ܪ. 18

3)      Three different methods of fishing

4)      The qualities of the disciples and fishermen

a) They were not humble, not forgiving, terrible at prayer meetings, no courage, and no spiritual understanding

b) Fishermen have patience, they persevere, they have courage, they seem to have an eye for the right location to fish, and they always stay out of the sight

c) He was very sensitive to the need of sinners

Conclusion – “You may say, “I don’t have a passion for anything like winning souls for Christ.” Try obeying, that is where it all begins.”
